The partnership between Atalian Servest Group and Post Office has won a prestigious Premises & Facilities Management (PFM) Award 2018 in the Partners in Cleaning public sector category.
The team were up against tough competition including Total Support Services with Historic Royal Palaces: Tower of London and Vinci Facilities with London Stadium. They were presented with their award on 7th November at a glittering awards ceremony at London’s The Brewery in front of more than 600 of the industry’s leading figures.
Atalian Servest first established a relationship with Post Office Ltd in 2014, to provide the cleaning and waste management to 294 of its sites across the UK, Scotland and Ireland. Post Office wanted to reduce both its carbon footprint and costs, and it needed a service provider who could not only support them in this endeavour but also lead the way. Since commencing the relationship, Atalian Servest has worked with Post office to consistently deliver innovative service improvements, managing to reduce cleaning hours across the whole account, saving the POL £431,000 since April 2017. They have also exceeded Post Office’s official targets for 2016-17, including the desire to ensure that 70 per cent of all waste generated could be recycled.
Over the past three and a half years, the two companies have together developed a vested and aligned outsourcing relationship that has created a win-win partnership focused on outcomes and real results instead of simply transactions.
“This award demonstrates that both Atalian Servest and ourselves at Post Office are committed to reducing our impact on the environment, and the overriding aim of our partnership is to become stronger together in this mission.” Says Steve Norris, head of property at Post Office Ltd.
“We are thrilled to win this award which is a reflection of the hard work of the Atalian Servest and Post Office team,” added Daniel Dickson, UK CEO of Atalian Servest.
