One of Suffolk’s biggest employers, global multi-service firm Atalian Servest, is making its second venture into the pub and dining industry with the acquisition of a well-known pub and inn in Long Melford.
The Swan is located in the centre of the high street, close to Long Melford’s stately home ‘Kentwell Hall’, and offers seasonal menus that have been curated by head chef Nickolas Traher. All produce is sourced from local businesses including Lavenham Butchers, Infusions 4 Chefs, Fisher and Woods, and Clarke & Son butchers.
Atalian Servest has a wealth of experience in catering with its successful business & industry brand Angel Hill Co. Last year, the business reopened the Cock Horse in Lavenham after a significant renovation and the recruitment of a number of guest chefs.
The Swan will offer luxury boutique bed and breakfast accommodation from June 2019. Leaning on Atalian Servest’s expertise in delivering excellence to international clients in the hospitality sector, this venture will allow the group to deliver its knowledge and skill to even more clients.
Daniel Dickson, UK and Ireland CEO of Atalian Servest, said: “We are thrilled to announce The Swan as our second Suffolk-based pub. The pub will help us to develop the prestigious reputation set by our team at The Cock Horse by serving skillfully executed and beautifully presented British cuisine, with great service.”
The venue opened officially in early May 2019.
