CHROMA – Stress Awareness Month

According to the Mental Health Foundation, 74% of UK adults have felt overwhelmed with stress in the past year. During Stress Awareness Month our Physical & Mental Health network is sharing tricks and tips to manage workplace stress. Their first tip is all about time management.

The next tip from our Physical & Mental Health network is about working off stress with physical activity. Everyone deals with stress differently, so take time to find methods that work for you!

Our Physical & Mental Health network are working to reduce the stigma that is associated with stress by encouraging our colleagues to talk openly and freely with friends, family and colleagues with their third tip for Stress Awareness Month.

It’s a well-known fact that a healthy diet is important for our physical health but, did you know it can support our mental health too? Our latest tip is about establishing healthy habits like reducing caffeine and refined sugar consumption.

Living with mental health problems can affect how well you sleep, and poor sleep can have a negative impact on your mental health. Our Physical & Mental Health network have shared some advice on establishing a sleep-enhancing routine.
