BEFORE SERVEST
Dave worked for a cleaning company for fourteen years where he gained valuable industry experience, including a knowledge of different floor treatments and cleans. Starting as a general cleaner, Dave progressed to take on a more senior management position.
SERVEST JOURNEY SO FAR
In July 2011, Dave was offered a position at Servest. Initially applying for a site manager position, Dave was offered an operations manager position in Scotland, due to his previous experience and ability to relocate.
Dave’s first week at Servest was spent visiting sites in the south before moving up to Scotland to explore his own region. After initially visiting the stores with a colleague, Dave was left to take charge and make his mark on the region. Challenged with a number of urgent issues in his first six months, Dave and his team worked together to bring success.
Throughout his time with Servest, Dave has been involved with some exciting projects, including the commonwealth games and a number of store openings. Dave has been challenged with overseeing UK wide cleaning contracts and meeting with clients to discuss the day to day running of their sites.
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
Servest is working towards regionalising its cleaning division and in recognition of his hard work with Servest, Dave was appointed to the new role of retail regional operations manager. As part of the changes, Dave has teamed up with some very motivated colleagues from various areas of the business and is excited to work with them to move the business forward.
Dave has relished the training that he has been given so far and is looking forward to what he sees as the beginning of another new chapter in his career with Servest.
