Dawn Fox – Training & Compliance Manager
What did you do before you joined Atalian Servest?
I have worked in the facilities and cleaning industry for 10+ years and have mainly provided cleaning services to retail stores and supermarkets. I started as a part time cleaner in 2006 and then progressed into operational management roles as an in-store cleaning manager, area manager and then training and compliance manager.
What opportunities has working at Atalian Servest given you?
I have been given numerous opportunities since joining Atalian Servest. I have been operations manager for the North and Scotland, overseeing 200+ supermarkets and then strategic operations manager for a large retail customer which I have been doing for 3 years. I have been allowed to study towards a CIPD level 3 in HR and am currently enrolled on a CIPD level 5 learning and development course.
How has this helped you grow?
Being given these opportunities has enabled me to develop my operational skills which in turn has enabled me to showcase my abilities to perform well and deliver excellent customer service. The training courses I have completed have allowed me to gain insight into the development of an organisation and it’s teams and allows me to support the organisation’s future strategic goals.
How does your future at Atalian Servest look?
I have 16 months left on my level 5 certificate, so I am not looking to complete any further personal development training at present. I hope to become involved in some of the learning and development team’s planning and delivery during my study which may in turn allow me to become an extended part of the L&D team focusing on our grocery side of the business in the future.
