Facilities management provider Servest Group has been chosen as a landscaping works and maintenance works framework supplier for the Environment Agency, a public body that works to create better places for people and wildlife, and support sustainable development.
Under a supplier framework, which has a small number of suppliers, Servest can be selected to provide general hard and soft landscape works and maintenance to three areas – Lincolnshire and Northampton, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire, and Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Work might include earth modeling, grass seeding, installing fencing, harvesting seed and establishing and managing grassland meadow, installing gravel surfaced viewing platforms, semi-mature tree planting and installing site furniture and signage.
The framework began on the 1st April 2014 and runs for 12 months. The Environment Agency has the option to extend it by 12 months for up to four years.
Winston Vidale, Head of Specialist Services at Servest Group, said: “We are delighted to be chosen as a framework supplier for the Environment Agency. Despite not having an existing relationship with the Environment Agency, we were selected based on price and quality demonstrating that we have considerable experience in completing the necessary works.”
