After completing college Greg found himself a job as an extinguisher service engineer and progressed to a fire and security systems engineer throughout his time at various companies. At the start of 2016 Greg was made redundant and decided to use it as an opportunity for a fresh start.
SERVEST JOURNEY SO FAR
Joining Servest in March 2016 as security systems engineer, Greg was impressed by the way the management handled his first few weeks and felt welcomed by the whole team. He quickly established himself as a key member of the team, getting involved with key projects from day one.
Since then Greg has been making steady progress and is now the engineering manager for Servest security services. Greg’s promotion showed to him Servest’s willingness to invest, and as a result, provided him with a huge boost in confidence.
Greg’s role now involves managing a back office team of three employees and also a team of five engineers. The team delivers the engineering aspect of all security systems sales right up until completion and handover. Happy to assist where he can, Greg shows the true nature of the Servest spirit by getting out his tools and supporting the team of engineers, helping to ensure a great customer service. The support from the team Greg has around him is key to what he achieves.
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
Greg sees himself being at Servest for a very long time, a feeling which he has had from the day he started. He feels there is a lot of opportunity within Servest and while the company is rapidly growing he’s keen to grow with it.
“I am very happy in my current position but I also know opportunities of progression are there for those that want them. I look forward to the exciting times ahead.”
