Servest and recruiter Investigo Property are hosting a second Women in Property and FM networking event in November at RICS’ headquarters, following the huge success of the inaugural event at the BBC’s headquarters in June.
Stuart Bonner, Director of Investigo Property and Norma Bresciani, Group Strategic Accounts Director at Servest, are arranging and coordinating the event, which takes place on 13th November at RICS’ headquarters, Parliament Square in central London. The event is being sponsored by the international service company Serco, which manages the building.
The networking event hopes to bring together the best and brightest in the property and FM industry, from female senior property and FM professionals to the next generation of up-and-coming female property and FM professionals.
As well as having the opportunity to network in a relaxed, friendly environment, delegates will get to hear from four guest speakers including a CEO and a motivational speaker, raise money for charity, and enjoy a champagne reception, which is being subsidised by Serco.
Some 75 female property and FM professionals attended the inaugural event at BBC New Broadcasting House, had the opportunity to network in an iconic setting, get to know each other and help to raise £500 for charity.
Norma Bresciani, Group Strategic Accounts Director at Servest, said: “I am delighted to be supporting Stuart in arranging and coordinating the second Women in Property and FM networking event, after the success of the inaugural event at the BBC’s headquarters. If anything, the momentum and interest is far greater now and the comments following the inaugural event made us realise that there is a big gap in the market for this type of event. I met many wonderful ladies and look forward to seeing them and new faces at the upcoming event.
Stuart Bonner, Director of Investigo Property, said: “The key appeal of these events is that they are aimed specifically at the next generation of female professionals. They are able to experience networking alongside their more senior peers and this encourages a really relaxed welcoming environment, and champagne also helps of course! It created conversations and genuine networking to a level I had never seen before at these types of events. We expect this one to be bigger and better and May 2015 is already being discussed.”
