Atalian Servest is currently recruiting for an Area Manager to join our passionate and driven team in North East on a permanent basis!

Duties will include

  • Looking after approximately 40 Retail sites within a geographical location. Reporting directly to the Operations Team you will oversee all aspects of the area not limited to the below. You will work within a small local team with an Area Support Manager reporting directly to you.
  • Ensure cleaning budgets delivered as far as practicably possible in line with Servest commercial budgets.
  • Complete daily visits and ensure any standards issues and critical checks are completed.
  • Complete cleaning reviews with on-site cleaners.
  • Ensure all machinery is in good working order, report any faults to our Helpdesk.
  • Follow up on any repair issues that are outstanding.
  • Effectively deal with recruitment issues whilst maintaining site budgets.
  • Deal with any HR issues that arise, always liaise with our HR department.
  • Prioritise any recruitment issues within the Region.
  • Attend monthly Operations meetings, preparing region overview of your area.
  • Dealing with customer complaints, attending client meetings.
  • A hands on approach is a top priority.

  • Able to prioritise effectively and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong personal integrity and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong leadership style with a focus on supporting and developing employees and colleagues.
  • Taking responsibility for the area and proactive attitude to problem-solving.
  • Ability to travel from store to store as required to meet the needs of the business.
  • You must have leadership and manage your time effectively.
  • A flexible work approach is a must in this busy role.
