We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager within the Facilities Management division to join the team.
The role of Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for various customer buildings covering operational delivery for hard services and customer relationship ownership, ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. The Regional Operations Manager will manage the appropriate customer relationships within Client organisations providing any necessary escalation points and ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved.
This role will additionally have commercial responsibility for the Region including budgetary control, P&L performance and ensuring robust management of WIP & Debt.
The delivery of services will be through the utilisation of Regional dedicated resources where feasible with additional utilisation of internal Atalian Servest divisions including the Mobile Engineering sector, Security, Fire & Security services, Compliance, FM projects and external supply partners where appropriate. The candidate shall ensure that the appropriate management, technical and operational resources are employed within the contract at all times. There will also be a requirement to work collaboratively with the Sector allocated teams and team managers within the Helpdesk / Admin functions to achieve mutually shared objectives.
The successful candidate
- Minimum 5 years Management experience in the Facilities Management area, managing Hard Services and Capital Project works including managing an operational site based or mobile team
- Demonstrate an understanding of the legislative requirements that impact on the client's property
- Hold a valid CSCS card and have relevant H&S qualifications for the position (IOSH, SMSTS)
- Excellent communication skills including presentation and written report writing
- Good PC skills, including advanced Excel
- Full driving licence
- Desired but not essential: Technical Engineering background in electrical/mechanical engineering
- Please note that this position will require Baseline security clearance as a contractual requirement.
