Servest, the international facilities management provider appoints Laura Ryan as Group Legal Counsel.

With an extensive background in corporate and commercial law and a longstanding relationship with Servest as an external legal advisor, Ryan has been appointed head of the in-house legal department at one of the UK’s fastest growing facilities management companies. Ryan will focus on mergers and acquisitions and commercial contracts work, as well as having responsibility for a range of general corporate matters, and is tasked with developing the in-house legal team to support the rapid growth of the business.

Having previously advised Servest whilst at Birketts LLP, a top 100 UK law firm based in East Anglia Ryan has an excellent relationship with Servest’s management team and an understanding of their vision and ambitions. Whilst at Birketts LLP, Ryan specialised in corporate and commercial law, gaining extensive experience advising clients on a variety of matters including mergers, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, commercial contracts and general corporate governance issues, so her appointment will bring fresh insight and perspective to Servest’s commercial operation.
