The new partnership, which is starting this month, will include delivery of a broad spectrum of specialist maintenance; from electrical testing to emergency lighting and boiler systems to automatic doors. The partnership will see a single provider supporting a wide range of maintenance activities across the university’s three campuses. This will allow for a greater degree of personalisation and a much more tailored approach to service delivery.
Michael Floyd, Managing Director of Facilities Management at Servest commented: “I am delighted that Arthur McKay has been awarded the new contract by the University of Glasgow. It’s great to be able to work with a local yet high profile education establishment. Our work will help the University achieve significant efficiencies and improve overall service delivery.”
Barry Morton, Head of Operations at the University of Glasgow said; “This is an exciting new partnership to drive forward our Planned Preventative Maintenance programme and ensure compliance. Arthur McKay have successfully completed a very thorough procurement process and we look forward to working with them.”
