Before Servest
After completing a Science and Economics degree at Swansea University, Mike stumbled across the facilities management industry in his first graduate role. Ever since Mike has worked in FM taking on a mix of operational and sales roles. Having initially worked for smaller companies, often with a limited service line offering, Mike worked his way up to Business Development Director for one of the largest FM providers in the UK.
Servest Journey So Far
Joining Servest in December 2016, Mike was initially struck by the friendliness and openness of the company, commenting on how welcoming colleagues were in his first few weeks. Mike joined Servest aware of the company’s growth path and was delighted to find that it was very forward thinking and customer focused, with the aim to provide the best service in the market.
Since taking on the sales director role for Servest Security, Mike has reshaped the sales team, implementing processes and recruiting new team members. Strengthening the team has been the first step in Mike executing his ambitious sales strategy and he is now in the position to make full use of his knowledge and expertise to drive Servest Security forward.
Looking To The Future
Feeling like his team has turned a corner, Mike is excited for the opportunities that the future has in store. Planning on making his mark, Mike is focused on expanding the teams’ presence in new and existing sectors and to prove the performance of his sales team.
From a personal perspective, Mike is keen to make the most of the development opportunities available, looking to enrol on one of Servest’s ILM accredited programmes in the near future.
