Japanese electronics giant Panasonic has renewed its catering contract with facilities management service provider Servest Group. Servest has worked with Panasonic at its Cardiff manufacturing plant and office facility since June 2012.
The new two-year contract, which starts on 1 September 2015, will see Servest provide a breakfast, lunch, vending and hospitality service from Monday to Friday at the site which accommodates almost 450 people. The offer includes theatre cooking and regular guest dishes combined with seasonal cooking and tasting sessions to drive customer interest and satisfaction.
The Panasonic plant has been based on the outskirts of Cardiff since 1976 and has produced a vast amount of products from televisions, set top boxes, microwave ovens and computer products.
“Servest provides an excellent, value-for-money service for Panasonic and we’re looking forward to cementing the relationship with this new contract,” said Angela Dupuy, HR Services Coordinator at Panasonic.
Rob Legge, Group Chief Executive Officer UK and Europe at Servest, said: “We’re delighted to renew our partnership with such a prestigious brand as Panasonic and look forward to delivering high standards of cuisine to continue to delight and excite our customers’ palates.” 21
