Servest Catering has secured over half a million pounds worth of new contract wins across four contracts.

Having operated a full catering service for the past five years at Southern Water’s HQ Division in Worthing, Servest Catering has won the contract to operate the catering services at Southern Water’s second HQ division based at Falmer near Brighton. Southern Water provides water and wastewater services for Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The deal will see the business provide a full catering service for up to 400 Southern Water staff, fivedays a week across the breakfast and lunchtime services. To support the catering services, the business will also design, supply and install a new kitchen and restaurant facility.

Travis Perkins has been supplying building materials to the trade for over 200 years and is one of the largest suppliers to the UK’s building and construction industry with a national network of more than 600 branches. Servest will provide a full catering service five days a week across the breakfast, lunch and evening services at the Travis Perkins distribution centre at Brackmills in Northampton. A dedicated Servest team will look after the 600 staff with this number set to increase to 800 later in the year. Servest Catering was awarded the contract based on its strong reputation within the industry, and through exceeding the client’s budgetary expectations.

The Roberts Bakery has been baking top quality bread at their Northwich bakery in the heart of Cheshire for over 120 years. Having won the contract from the incumbent contract caterer following a three month tender process, Servest Catering will provide a full catering service to the 800 staff at the Northwich bakery across the breakfast and lunchtime services, sevendays a week. The Roberts Bakery will be investing heavily in the site with the creation of a new purpose-built restaurant to support the new catering offer. The Servest Catering team was praised by the client for the passion and enthusiasm they displayed for fresh, seasonal produce.

NOV Mono based in Oldham, is a leading name in the design, manufacture and distribution of progressing cavity pumps worldwide. Servest Catering has won the contract to supply both catering and cleaning services at its Oldham site. The business will provide a breakfast and lunchtime service sevendays a week for around 500 employees.

“Henry Watts, Managing Director, Servest Catering comments: “These are fantastic wins for the business. Since the acquisition of 7 Day Catering by Servest a year ago, it really has been ‘business as usual’. In fact, what we’re experiencing since the acquisition is many more opportunities for catering services as customers look to bundle soft services to improve their offer and create a more cost effective and efficient management structure.”
