This spring, leading facilities management service provider, Servest, begins a 3-year cleaning contract with high street pet shop giants, Pets at Home.
Following a positive transformation of Pets at Home’s distribution centre in Northampton, Servest was asked to revolutionise the approach to cleaning at the Stoke site. The team will be providing high level cleaning services including: warehouse cleaning, hygiene preventative maintenance and window cleaning.
The contract, which now incorporates several linked distribution centres, will see Servest’s experienced professionals tackle several challenging obstacles. The distribution centres for example, are all over a decade old, which will make maintaining and delivering high service standards more of a task. In addition, cleaning practices will differ from typical retail contracts, due to colleagues having the rare opportunity to bring their pets to work – making full use of Servest’s advanced cleaning practices.
Rob Legge, Servest Group’s CEO, believes that this contract win is testament to the team’s ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence:
“Our relationship with Pets at Home has always been more of a partnership, than a contract. We’ve therefore been able to prove ourselves by delivering a service that met and exceeded expectations, and raised standards across the board. We’re looking forward to mirroring the success of Northampton in our new contract and strengthening our reputation as a leading service provider.”
