BIFM North members are to gather at BBC Media City in Manchester on Thursday, 11th September to look at three pertinent issues that are changing the FM industry, with Servest sharing its expertise about the client–supplier relationship.
Servest and supplier information management experts Trade Interchange will be running a session on collaboration and generating added value in supply chain relationships.
Servest’s head of procurement, Stuart Wright, will be sharing his experience of negotiating with suppliers, talking about the key stages in the negotiation process, and providing advice.
Trade Interchange’s Tim Hoiles, chief of operations, and Mike Edmunds, chief technical officer, will be describing their partnership with Sodexo, which has so far seen SIM solutions implemented in nine countries. Sodexo faced challenges in gathering data and keeping it up to date.
Katie King of Zoodikers Consulting will be talking about social media and how to develop social media strategies. And Andrew Mawson of AWA will be talking about managing the 21st century workplace and delivering a workplace management excellence model.
A tour of the BBC Media City facilities will also be available, although places are limited.
